Hi, my name is River, and I am the sweetest, snuggliest young lady you will ever meet.  I’m an 11-month-old, black lab mix.  I’m shy and a bit nervous when I first meet someone new; but once I’m comfortable, I love to take big walks and sniff everything.  I also love to play, play, play.

I’m potty trained, am not a chewer and sleep all night in my crate without a peep.  Besides hiking, one of my favorite things is enjoying a frozen peanut butter bone in my crate and cuddling on the couch with my foster grandpa while we watch TV together.

I like lots of attention and am looking for a family who will spend a lot of time with me or take me places.  I love to jump in the car and go on an adventure.

I’m dog friendly and have hung out with an older cattle dog and a young Great Dane.  I don’t mind children but need to be reminded not to jump.

I’m young so I need someone who is willing to work with me to improve my manners, but I definitely have the basics down.
